Amount Ingredient Preparation
1/2 cup whole wheat flour
1/2 cup flour all-purpose
2 teaspoons baking powder
1/2 teaspoon baking soda
1/2 teaspoon cinnamon
2 cups all-bran cereal
1 1/4 cup milk skim
1/3 cup brown sugar firmly packed
1 each egg
1/2 cup applesauce
1/2 cup cranberries, dried
 Heat oven to 4 degrees F.  Mix flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon in large bowl.  Mix cereal, milk and sugar in another bowl; let stand 5 minutes.  Stir in egg and applesauce.  Add to flour mixture; stir just until moistened.  (Batter will be lumpy).  Spoon batter into muffin pan lined with foil cups, filling each cup 2/3 full.  Bake for 18 to 2 minutes or until browned.
