Wash prunes. Remove pits. Chop prunes. Wash apples.Remove cores. Combine apples and 6 cups water. Simmer 4 minutes.Combine sirup, vinegar, 1 1/2 cups water, spices, and salt.Boil 2 minutes.Add prunes.Simmer 1 minutes. Add apples and raisins. Simmer about 2 minutes, or until flavors are blended.Pack in freshly sterilized jars.Seal.
