Direction and Ingredients
Amount Ingredient Preparation
1/4 cup millet 1 1/2 oz, uncooked
1/4 cup barley 1 1/2 oz, uncooked
1/3 cup rice, brown 2 oz, uncooked
1 cup onions chopped
1 cup green bell pepper chopped
1/2 cup carrots finely chopped
1 each kidney beans canned, drained
8 ounces tomato sauce
1 pound tomatoes canned, chopped, drained, reserve liquid
1 1/2 cup corn canned, drained or frozen
1 teaspoon oregano dried
1 teaspoon basil dried
1/2 teaspoon garlic powder
1 x salt to taste
1 x pepper to taste
 Combine all ingredients in a crockpot. Add water to reserved tomato liquid to equal 2 1/2 cups.  Stir into grain mixture.  Cover and cook on low setting 8 hours.  Stir before serving.

Serves 8 as a side dish and 4 - 6 as a filling main course.
You can use any combination of grains. Just use about 1 cupful altogether
